Product Description

A setting of the frequently-used Psalm 125(126).

An alternative refrain – Those who sow in tears will sing when they reap – is provided. This is the Lectionary psalm for St George’s feast day; it could also be used for commemorations of martyrs.

To maintain the imagery of the verses, the refrain may be omitted between the odd and even numbered verses. Verses 1 and 3 have different melodies to verses 2 and 4.

This setting was first used publicly for the Romero Trust celebration of Blessed Oscar Romero’s beatification in Southwark Cathedral, London in August 2015.

It is the psalm for the feast of St George (23 April), 30th Sunday of Ordinary Time Year B, 5th Sunday of Lent Year C or 2nd Sunday of Advent Year C.

Instrumentation: Keyboard, guitar
