A chant for Advent optional verses in Taize-style.
The refrain is from Luke 21: “Stay awake at all times”. The verses are from Isaiah 40, adapted from the well-known paraphrase by the 17th Century writer Johann Olearius and translated into English by Catherine Winkworth in the 1800s.
