The refrain of this gentle communion processional song was inspired by the new words of the Mass: “Lord I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed”.
The verses pick up themes from the Mass, the Didache and the New Testament about the Lord’s death and rising, our unity in God and our commission to leave the building of the church and go out into the world.
